In partnership with Luxgears, we are putting the Kia EV3 through its paces. With its cubic, futuristic design, the new Kia EV3 stands out as a compact and bold alternative in the electric SUV landscape. Inspired by its big brother, the EV9, the GT Line model impresses with its angular lines, black wheel arches and distinctive front and rear lights. Aerodynamics are not neglected either, thanks to flush door handles and an integrated spoiler.

The interior focuses on modernity with a Mercedes-style dual screen, an original steering wheel design and intuitive controls. Comfort is guaranteed with heated and ventilated seats, a two-stage heated steering wheel and memory settings. The only downside is that some of the hard plastics on the dashboard detract from the overall quality.

On the road, the Kia EV3 offers a smooth and quiet ride. Available with two batteries (58.3 kWh or 80.3 kWh), it has a range of up to 603 km in the WLTP cycle, although the real-world figure is around 400 km. Fast charging is available at 120 kW, and regenerative braking can be adjusted to suit the road conditions.

Facing competitors such as the Skoda Enyaq, the EV3 stands out with its bold styling, generous equipment and versatility, despite a few concessions on materials and storage. A smart choice for urban families looking for a compact and well-designed electric SUV.
