On Sunday 27 April 2025, the ACL karting track in Mondercange hosted the fourth edition of CampingSmaart, an event that has become a must for all fans of van life, motorcycling, cycling and camping. With over 4,000 visitors, this edition was a resounding success, confirming the popularity of outdoor living and nomadic adventures.

Under blue skies, visitors were able to explore a 4,500 m² exhibition featuring the latest campervans, outdoor equipment, tents, carrying systems, solutions for two-wheelers and innovative accessories. Exhibitors shared their expertise and advice to help everyone choose the perfect equipment for their next getaway, with a focus on responsible and sustainable solutions.

‘With this fourth edition, we can see that CampingSmaart has become a real meeting place for outdoor enthusiasts, but also for people who want to try the experience of a holiday in the great outdoors, in a mobile home, a converted van or simply camping. Visitors were able to talk to more than 30 professionals and discover the different equipment needed for this type of holiday and experience. We are also seeing that more and more people want to broaden their horizons, learn to travel differently and simply with their children, but also with their pets. CampingSmaart is ultimately a friendly place where visitors come to explore and plan their future. The most important thing for us is also this aspect of advice. Being able to talk to professionals, ask questions and get concrete answers,’ emphasises Sergio Fontes, the ACL’s event manager.

This year, the expansion of the exhibition area, the friendly catering area and the children’s play area added a touch of conviviality to the event, allowing everyone to enjoy a day full of discoveries and emotions. Campingsmaart 2025 once again brought together a community of enthusiasts, offering a friendly atmosphere and a real sense of mutual support between participants, whether seasoned or novice.

This unique and unmissable event in the Greater Region continues to celebrate adventure, freedom and the pleasures of outdoor life.

The day was marked by numerous activities, including a long bike ride led by Jempy Drucker and Frank Schleck, iconic figures in Luxembourg cycling. Thrill seekers were also able to enjoy the go-kart track, which was opened to the public for the occasion.

The ACL teams are already thinking about organising a fifth edition and look forward to seeing you again next year.
