The 2025 summer tyre test, conducted in collaboration with ADAC, highlights the performance of 18 models with the dimension 225/40 R18. These are used primarily on compact cars. The tyres were tested on various criteria related to safety, driving comfort and environmental performance.
Eleven out of a total of 18 tyres received an overall rating of ‘good’, indicating solid and reliable performance. Four tyres were rated ‘satisfactory’, while two others received a ‘sufficient’ rating. One tyre model fell short of expectations and was rated ‘poor’. The results clearly show the differences in performance and help consumers to make an informed decision based on their individual requirements.
